Current Projects
Stuff that's being actively worked on right now... Stuff to work on
- Deadworld -- something like Riverworld. In the Future, the dead are brought back to "life" in a computer simulation. [This is a spinoff from Ultimate Marty Stu version 1.2. Mac built and runs the computer system, but in the story he's mostly just Mr. Exposition in this story.]
- Noneuclidean -- possibly GURPS-based, a role-playing game that will probably have a user interface similar to Kingdom of Loathing.
Recent Projects
- With This Herring: being developed, probably for a webcomic in the style of MS Paint Adventures, based on TV Tropes. Essentially, "TV Tropes the Interactive Fiction." Update 9/26/10: This had a couple of issues that prevented me from making progress, then I got involved in other things that are taking all my time now. On hold indefinately.
- ETIA The Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence Agency
- h3xx0rz Cthulhu mythos meets the Matrix. Our universe is actually a MMORPG being run by the Outer Gods -- Cthulhu and Hastur are player characters. Certain people figure this out and learn to manipulate the Source Code. Hilarity ensues as they destroy and recreate the world multiple times while fighting over what paradise should look like.
- h3xx0rz 2 Sequel to h3xx0rz. "Then mankind would have become as the Great Old Ones; free and wild and beyond good and evil, with laws and morals thrown aside and all men shouting and killing and revelling in joy. Then the liberated Old Ones would teach them new ways to shout and kill and revel and enjoy themselves, and all the earth would flame with a holocaust of ecstasy and freedom." -- H.P.Lovecraft, "The Call of Cthulhu" ...This is the story of that world.
- Xeno Files -- A Mega Crossover fan fiction. A large number of "fictional" realities are colliding/merging with each other and with the real world. The X Files division is expanded into the Xeno Files and tries to cope with all the strange goings-on.
- Ultimate Marty Stu
- version 1.1 Human civilization suffers a cascadie failure, a domino-style rolling collapse that results in 90% of the human race dying off. This may not have been accidental. In order to prevent the human race from degenerating back to the stone age, space aliens briefly return from a higher plane of existence to loan some advanced technology to our Marty Stu, Melvin Ames "Mac" Carme.
- version 1.2 In this version there are no aliens. Mac invents the technology he needs to duplicate himself, and also the computer system that runs Deadworld (under "Current Projects").
- Marty Stutopia. Protagonist: FBI agent, X Files/MIB. The Earth has been invaded by a horde of annoyingly perfect beings! What do you do? Real antagonists: the Corpocracy, the Luminous Ones, the Livenetics, See-SETI, Exclusive Earthlings, Church of Christ to Come, People's World Nation
- Cloneworld
- Cloneworld NG A version of the setting being developed possibly for Flash video, possibly to be uploaded to Newgrounds. Will probably go with the MSPFA version instead. See "Current Projects," above
- Cloneworld "Interactive Fiction" A version of the setting originally developed possibly for a webcomic in the style of MS Paint Adventures. I've decided to go with "With This Herring" instead. I may make Flash videos based on this setting.
