"Spaceport Earth" -- the alien spaceport in geostationary orbit around the Earth. Operated by the Grimman business clan m'Traan. The spaceport is a ring about 84,000 miles in diameter, about 100 miles wide, and about a mile thick. Six space elevators connect the ring with the surface of the Earth.
