SAI

Sapient Artificial Intelligence. Term borrowed from GURPS Transhuman Space by Steve Jackson Games. Most are built as SAI-8s (full human intelligence). Considered fully sapient and have citizenship. In the GEC, vehicles and energy weapons are required to be SAI-controlled for safety and security.
