Hedon

The m'Traan Starship [m'T.S.S.] Hedon is a Slightly Decadent class ("just a little nicer than absolutely necessary" -- GEC aliens tend toward asceticism. Actually it's pretty cushy compared to what most humans are used to.) luxury cruiser with 1/4 of its guest accommodations outfitted for humans. It uses a Fallen Trunk class spaceship hull, about ten miles long with a hexagonal cross section about one mile across (in Grimman units, half a Daymarch long, one Silence across). Details

Housekeepers

A race of self-reproducing robots evolved from housekeeping robots designed by a species now extinct. The Housekeepers have decided that organic life is the source of most dirt, and have decided to give the universe a good cleaning out. A threat to the Prima Sector and nearby Sectors, authorized for liquidation by GEC economic analysts.

hyperspace

The common name for so-called imaginary space, which exists at right angles to normal space. Objects traveling faster than light occupy hyperspace.
